Tom has taken over the Maui Hammerheads. After Mark Solich stepped down. Funny that there was no announcement from the league office on this mid season ownership change. Posted By: CBLPress 06 Oct 2008
| New Owners and Season ready to start |
Well the 2018 season is ready to begin. Claude Seanosky takes over the Quebec Saints and Matt Bisette former owner of the carolina storm. Returns to take over the San Fransico Seals.
With that being said should be the same old story in the CBL. With Rochester and DC on the road to another Championship series rematch. Barring injuries.
In the UL.
DC iz the tean to beat no suprise there.
Dallas should win the UL North and Death Valley will have to fend off San Fran in the CL south. With Death Valley suffering some key player losses due to free agency.
The wild card should come down to Calgary, Richmond, Maui and the loser of the division for the CL south.
Over in the UL.
Flordia and Alaska should battle it out for the CL North. An aging Rochster team will have to fend off a fiesty Long Beach team in the CL Central.
Ah the good ole CL South. Once again this should be the best division to watch in baseball. With Las vegas and Clearwater battling down to the last day of the regular season again. With San Diego and Oakland a step or two behind.

| Maui Hammerheads up for sale |
Mark Solich earlier today annouced at the CBL owner meetings. That he was stepping down as owner of the Maui Hammerheads effective immediately. To say that the shockwaves are still being felt though the CBL is an understatement. This writer has a good hunch who will take over Maui. If the offer is accepted. But I will not reveal the name at this time. I see this potential owner having no issue gaining approval from commissoner Barr.
Good luck Mark. Posted By: CBLPress 06 Aug 2008
The crystal ball was right. I wish it would be right when I ask for lottery numbers. DC beats Rochester in an epic seven game series. Congrats to DC on the three-peat. As the book closes on the 2017 CBL season. Looking towards 2018. Stay right here as we focuse on the CBL offseason and the upcoming FA draft and any possible franchise relocations.
Congrats DC Posted By: CBLPress 28 Jul 2008
For the third straight year. It is DC vs Roc. Can DC three peat? Can Roc stop DC? These are all questions that will be answered. Look for the series to go seven. DC in seven. Posted By: CBLPress 26 Jul 2008
